The DOM ENiQ App is a free, offline access control management application for compatible DOM ENiQ electronic locking devices. It allows administrators to manage users, configure access permissions and programme electronic locks and credentials directly from a smartphone, without requiring a permanently connected online access control system.

Supporting up to 500 users, the ENiQ App offers two offline operating methods: Data on Card and Data on Device, allowing administrators to choose how access permissions are stored and managed.

Free Offline Access Control Management

The DOM ENiQ App is completely free to use and provides offline management of compatible ENiQ devices without requiring dedicated desktop software or a permanent network connection at the door.
Administrators can manage users, configure access permissions and programme compatible electronic locking devices using their smartphone, making it suitable for offices, businesses and shared buildings.

Data on Card

With Data on Card, access permissions are stored on compatible electronic credentials, such as cards or key fobs. Using the DOM ENiQ App, administrators can write access permissions directly to compatible cards and key fobs using their smartphone, without requiring a separate desktop programming station.
When a credential is presented to a compatible ENiQ locking device, the device reads the stored access permissions to determine whether entry is authorised.

Data on Device

With Data on Device, access permissions are stored within the electronic locking devices rather than on the user's credential.
Administrators use the DOM ENiQ App to manage authorised users and update permissions directly on compatible ENiQ locking devices. When a card or key fob is presented, the locking device checks whether that credential is authorised to access the door.

Which Operating Method Should I Choose?

Both methods provide offline electronic access control, but the main difference is where access permissions are stored.

Data on Card stores permissions on the card or key fob, which can be programmed using a smartphone and the ENiQ App.
Data on Device stores permissions within the locking device, allowing administrators to manage authorisations at the relevant door.

The appropriate method depends on the installation and how access permissions need to be administered.

The ENiQ App works with compatible DOM ENiQ electronic locking products, including supported electronic cylinders and wireless door handles. These devices can be managed without permanent network connectivity, providing flexibility when installing electronic access control across multiple doors.
