Victoria King

At DOM UK, we are proud to celebrate an important milestone within our Customer Services team during National Apprenticeship Week 2025. This week serves as a reminder of the incredible value apprenticeships bring in fostering skills, building careers, and creating strong, capable teams.

We are excited to announce that Victoria King, one of our dedicated customer service apprentices, has successfully completed her Highfield Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service Skills with a Distinction! This remarkable achievement highlights Victoria’s hard work, dedication, and commitment to personal growth, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see her progress.

Investing in People and Building Careers

Victoria’s journey at DOM UK has been an inspiring example of how apprenticeships can shape the future of both the individual and the company. Over the course of her apprenticeship, she gained in-depth knowledge of DOM UK’s operations, from understanding the company’s mission and values to mastering key aspects of the customer experience, including order processing, assisting with customer requests, checking master key references, and managing order ETAs.

At DOM UK, we firmly believe in the importance of investing in our employees. It is this investment that leads to a higher level of service, which in turn benefits our customers. We offer a healthy, modern working environment, with access to the latest technology and continuous training, allowing our team members to grow and develop throughout their careers.

By supporting personal development and encouraging career growth, we aim to create opportunities for upwards mobility within the SFPI Group. Apprenticeships are an integral part of this approach, enabling individuals to learn valuable skills while contributing to the company’s overall success.

A Long-standing Commitment to Apprenticeships

DOM UK’s commitment to apprenticeship schemes extends beyond just the office environment. We offer apprenticeships across various areas, including our manufacturing division. Over the years, we’ve supported countless young people by helping them kick-start their careers. Through this initiative, they gain hands-on experience, learn transferable skills, and benefit from the guidance of their colleagues, all of which set them up for success in their careers.

As Lyn Dyson, our Operations Director, comments: "I am a strong believer in the apprenticeship scheme. It is an effective way to develop young people by transferring skills from existing employees. Introducing young talent into the workplace brings fresh ideas and perspectives, and they become the skilled workers of the future."

Why Apprenticeships Matter

Apprenticeships are not only beneficial for the apprentices themselves but for the businesses and communities they serve. At DOM UK, apprenticeships play a vital role in ensuring that we continue to provide exceptional service to our customers. The apprentices we invest in today are the future leaders and skilled professionals who will drive the business forward tomorrow.

As we celebrate National Apprenticeship Week 2025, we want to acknowledge the hard work and achievements of all of our apprentices, including Victoria. We look forward to watching her continue to thrive and contribute to our success.

Congratulations, Victoria, on this well-deserved achievement! Your dedication to personal and professional growth inspires us all.
