How ENiQ App Supports Access Rights – Online and Offline

The ENiQ App gives you two flexible methods for managing access rights, whether you're working online or offline: Data on Device and Data on Card.

Access rights are stored directly on the locking devices (e.g. smart cylinders or handles).
Whenever you update a user’s permissions, you’ll need to synchronise those changes with each affected device via the ENiQ App.

Best for:
✔ Centralised buildings where all devices are within reach
✔ Moderate number of devices
✔ High volume of transponder users

DOM ENiQ app will inform you if any actions are pending. Simply look for the in-app indicators that mark the devices that need to be synchronised.

Simply put your phone on the device and let it sync! You can also synchronise using Bluetooth®, by staying in range of the device.

In this mode (OSS Standard), access rights are stored on the transponder (e.g. card or fob), not the device.
When permissions change, the transponder is updated via the app — and it brings the new access data to each lock it touches.

Best for:
✔ Larger or decentralised sites
✔ Reduced need for direct lock updates
✔ Faster authorisation updates across locations
