DOM Online Mesh creates a wireless access control network using advanced Thread technology, delivering secure and reliable communication between electronic locking devices.
Instead of relying on traditional point-to-point radio communication, the system uses a self-forming mesh network, where each device communicates with others to create multiple signal paths across a site. This ensures consistent performance, even in complex buildings or challenging environments.
The network automatically adapts to its surroundings, strengthening signal routes, maintaining stable communication, and optimising energy usage without manual configuration. If one device becomes unavailable, communication is automatically rerouted through other connected devices, ensuring continuous operation.
Each repeater supports up to 16 devices, allowing more doors to be connected with fewer components—reducing hardware requirements and simplifying system design.
With no requirement for Ethernet cabling or complex IP configuration, DOM Online Mesh reduces installation time and IT dependency, making it an efficient and scalable solution for modern access control projects.
