Wednesday, 30 October 2019 was a special day for DOM Romania because on this day, DOM Romania celebrated their 10th anniversary. For this special occasion, they organised an event that took place in Pentagon Events, a luxurious event space in Bucharest. 60 loyal customers were invited to share this big day with.
An Event Where People Come Together
The event started with an opening speech by General Manager DOM Romania, Tiberiu Ionita, followed by DOM Security CEO and founder, Mr Henri Morel, and a speech by Erik Mastenbroek, Marketing Director of DOM Security.
Besides celebration, foods, dancing, and party, DOM Romania took this occasion to present the products from DOM Security to the invitees. The products shown in the event were mostly digital locking products, such as DOM Tapkey, DOM ENiQ LoQ, and the newest DOM ENiQ Guard. Other products such as antipanic bars, Euro-Elzett's multipoint locks, and Titan's T250 cylinder were also shown to the audience.
During the event, important people of DOM Security also made some product presentations, such as Alexander Medjed (Group Sales DOM Sicherheitstechnik), Bartlomiej Wypych (General Manager DOM Poland), Lorenzo Tacchino (Area Manager Southern Area) and Levente Janos Incze with his presentation about multipoint locks.

The highlight of the event was definitely the digital locks products, especially the smart mobile access of DOM Tapkey. The invitees were thrilled with the functionality of the digital locks. Some of them even signed their first orders for the products during this event.
Launching New Features
DOM Romania's 10th-anniversary celebration also meant introducing new features and products. In this event, DOM Romania proudly premiered the functionality of programming transponders with iOS (Apple devices) for the first time to the public and their customers.
Besides launching new functionality of DOM Tapkey, DOM Romania also launched their official website. This is their first step towards better online presence and better collaboration with loyal resellers throughout the country. Through this website, new and current customers can view the current products of DOM Romania and interact with the company. It is the pinnacle of the professionalism and quality of the sales representatives of DOM Romania.
After this event, we can conclude that the security industry is changing, not only in Europe in general but also in Romania. The interest from mechanical locks is slowly transitioning towards digital lock products. Therefore, we can expect a great future in digital locking and smart mobile solutions in the Romanian market.
