Setting standards for a safer world
ARGE (The European Federation of Associations of Locks and Builders Hardware Manufacturers) is a European organisation that:
- represents the security industry's values in Europe by gathering a range of national and regional organisations from around the continent. It is a meeting place for like-minded business executives who want to make their sector better for everyone.
- develops and evaluates standards and norms, and drafts new laws in anticipation of future difficulties in the locks and building hardware business. ARGE is not only responsible for assessing standards, but it is also linked to numerous European organisations and advises laboratories on best practices in standardisation.
