Paris, 20 November 2019 – Thanks to the public and the voters, this year DOM Security’s ENiQ Guard is the winner of one of the categories of GIT Security Award 2020, one of the most prominent awards in the security industry.
GIT Security Award is an annual event by GIT Security magazine that has been held since 2003. Until 31 March, companies can submit their latest product to be nominated in the yearly GIT Security Award. In the following month, a neutral panel of judges consists of system integrators, installers, and users choose the finalists in different categories. Based on these finalists, the readers of GIT Security EMEA, GIT Sicherheit, online communities, and fans of the products can vote for their favourite product. Three products will be crowned as winners in each category, based on the votes from readers and market participants.
This year, DOM Security submitted the newest ENiQ Guard to the submission pool. Based on the votes, we are glad to announce that ENiQ Guard got awarded as the second-place winner in Category D: Access Control, Intruder Alarm, and Perimeter Protection.
We did a short interview with Steffen Ebert, Publishing Director of GIT Security EMEA magazine, on why the jury nominated DOM and DOM ENiQ Guard as one of the finalists. "ENiQ Guard offers solutions for many different door situations and variants," he said. "Due to its' robustness, it also offers excellent protection against vandalism and could be of good use in areas with much public traffic such as in hospitals, banks, and hotels."
"Moreover, ENiQ Guard is a digital integration product that allows the user to choose the programming method. With this product, it seems easy to integrate this product to existing DOM access management world, but also third-party integrator software. Those are the main reasons why the jury decided to choose DOM ENiQ Guard as one of the finalists for Category D in this year's GIT Security award."
All in all, we would like to thank you for your support in GIT Security Award 2020.
