No, all versions from V5.0 to newer once are compatible only with SQL Anywhere 11 and 12. From ELS software V5.3 and newer once are working with SQL Anywhere 10, 11 and 12. It is always advisable to update the SQL version to the newest version.

Install the ELS software V5 by entering the licence during installation. If you are an Admin, install by entering the licence via System data and through Software - Upgrade. In the installation directory you will find the programme Import.exe. If you enter the path of your old database, the old data will be imported to the ELS V5 software. NOTE: It is mandatory to start the software with a standard password, not user password as it will become unusable after the import.

1. Order a new extended licence at your dealer.
2. Once the new licence key is received, start the screen and click on "System Data".
3. Click on "Software upgrade".
4. Click "No" when asked if an update file is available.
5. Enter your new licence number and press OK.
5. Relaunch the software."

In ENiQ® and ELS configuration, you can use ""Permanent Open"" transponder feature to activate this function.

Optional for ENiQ® Software:
1. Open the device list
2. Open the device mask by double clicking a selected device.
3. Under the tab "Special function", you can choose "Week Plan Permanently Open"
4. Select the week plan and plan when the device should be in permanent open mode.
5. Click "Save"
6. Reprogram your device. If it is not online, move to ""Online"" tab and click on button "Program"

Option 1: Delete the desktop icon and save a new link to ELSmobile90.exe from the installation directory on your desktop.

Option 2: Reinstall the software with administrator rights and enter the licence key.

Please rewrite your transponder on the desk reader, ACM Terminal (for extension of validation) or ACM ITT.

If this doesn't work, please check the authorisation, validation and validation group affiliation of transponder by checking the event list for the event to block the tag to find out a reason.

1. Click on "Programming Devices".
2. Click on the desk reader icon to open the Properties window.
3. Select desk reader and click OK.
4. Put transponder on the desk reader, then click on the button the read the transponder.
5. Enter the transponder name.
6. Give access rights by selecting device(s) and click Insert.
7. Alternative: Select a group and click Insert
8. Click OK to finish the change.

1. On the Start screen, click on "Time Zone".
2. Move the mouse over the right empty field, right click on the mouse button and select New.
3. Click "new screen create new time zones"
4. Choose one of the 31 time zones shown on the screen.
5. Press OK.
6. Enter description for the new screen management of the time zone.
7. Enter up to 3 time slots a day and click OK to finish the operation.

"Desk reader:
1. Click on Programming device
2. Move the mouse to the right/white area
3. Right click on your mouse and click "New"
4. Select Desk Reader V7 or older version and click OK.
5. Enter serial number, located on the button of the device sticker and click OK.
6. Enter name and description into the field and click OK.
7. Double-click on the new desk reader in the overview of Programming Device.
8. Click "Desk Reader Authorisation" and click on the authorisation button for ELS USB desk reader V7. It will take some time and you will see a coloured signal once this is one.
9. Click OK on the info box.

USB Funk stick: The plugged device will be recognised automatically.

IR-stick:
1. Launch the program and click Software
2. Right click on the icon and click "Open data path"
3. Choose an installation folder and choose folder USB-IR Stick installer.
4. Double click on the icon and install windows vista driver.
5. Plug the USB-IR stick into the USB port.
6. From the Windows screen, go to System and Device Management.
7. See connected COM devices - select Prolific- USB to serial common port
8. Right click and choose Settings
9. Select COM-Connection between number 1 to 8
10. Click OK and restart your computer.
11. Once your computer is restarted, go back to the software and click on Button device data
12. Choose point communication ports
13. Select the COM port you chose previously
14. Select the drop down menu at the end of the column and change from IR stick to ACT
15. Click OK to finish the operation.

1. Choose an area.
2. Choose a device type and select the device.
3. Right click on the desired device, click on Program, choose the element to program and click OK.

You have to stay next to the device with USB funk stick and hold the wake-up card to the reading field of the device.

Data on Device or Data on Card: Events are automatically transmitted when the unit is programmed via the software or app, and can then be viewed under "Journal/ Events" in the menu.

Online: With the online system, the events come automatically. Users can see the events in the live events, all events under "Journal/ Events" in the menu.
Other programming methods: On request, the device must be programmed once with the Device Management or, in the case of an online system, via "Program Online". During the programming process, the events are read out and can be viewed in the software or app under Journal/ Events.

Please do the following steps:
1) Open Device Manager (Windows Start menu – Control Panel – Device Manager).
2) Open the infrared stick menu (Profilic USB to Serial Adapter) under 'Connections' (COM and LPT) and right-click mouse to open the context menu.
3) Click “Update driver software”.
4) Search for driver software on the computer.
5) Select the corresponding driver from the year 2008 from the list of device drivers.
6) Apply settings and save.

Table reader: Set the COM port of the table reader correctly in the ELS software. Then from the software, do the following:

1. Open Device Data - Communication connections - Programming device column
2. Set the correct COM port. Do not choose an IR adapter from the drop down menu
3. Click OK.

1. Open Windows Device Manager
2. Select Prolific USB to Serial Adapter under Connections COM
3. Update the driver software by right clicking on the mouse, search for driver software and select the software from a list of device drivers. Select the driver from 2008.

IR stick: Set the COM port for the IR Stick correctly in the ELS software: Device Data - Communication Ports - Other Devices - Set the correct COM Port and ACT-IR 220L+. Before programming, the version of ELS Protector or ELS Pro must be read out.

This means that the COM port of the infrared stick must be configured correctly in the ELS software. Proceed with the following steps.

1. Select Device Data > Communication connections.
2. Set the correct COM port and select ACT-IR 210L+.

Before programming, this version must be read out.

This code stands for wrong licence code for ELS software. You can check the code by going to Version Info via System No. And version. Please enter the correct licence key for version 5.0 and newer.
