The master card is the most important card in your system. It serves as proof of ownership and with your help you can add or remove digital terminals to your system. It can also be used to authorise programming cards and locking media on terminal devices, delete individual ones if they are physically present, or reset the terminal device completely, thereby deleting all authorisations. The master card is normally only used for the initial setup of terminals and programming cards, after which the programming card should be used for authorising locking media. After the master card has been used, it should be stored in a safe.
