Product Manager for Business Integration (m/f/d)

DOM Security is looking for a Product Manager for our Projects team to take care of our access control integration solutions. Digital access control is a growing market, the products that serve it must be reliable, versatile, easy-to-use and, of course, highly secure. Your mission will be to manage the entire lifecycle of our integrator products; in particular, managing, testing and benchmarking the integrator software behind DOM Connect.


You will prepare market analysis, coordinate with key partners and internal stakeholders, improve and deliver on existing products. While your location may be in any country in Europe*, close proximity to a major airport and the ability to travel will be important (up to 2 days a week). You will need to work closely with our Integrator partners, local sales, European sales coordinator and software RnD teams, and you will report directly to the Projects team Director.

Tasks:

  • Drive the product- and business-planning processes for cross-functional teams
  • Analyse customer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build-vs.-buy perspective
  • Assess current competitors’ offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation
  • Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments
  • Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans
  • Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, from research and planning through to development, training and product launch
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams
  • Create product strategy documents for business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue and ROI
  • Analyse market data to develop sales strategies for each country and define product objectives for effective marketing communications
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams regarding development, QA and release of products while balancing resources to ensure success
  • Manage implementation of logos for integrators with stakeholders
  • Participate in system tests of all integrator software to stay on top of market trends
  • Create and manage a new web based integrator platform to communicate news and information for integrator products

 

Competence:

  • Experience in software product management

• Strong software and/or app background, especially in cloud solutions and in on premise solutions, knowledge of modern software interfaces and integrations (ex. APIs, SDKs, web services)

  • Good Knowledge in Software development process, tools, frameworks, interfaces

• Organizing projects according to SCRUM method with Sprint planning, reviews
• Good understanding of software architectures, Cloud, Apps on premises, native Apps (IOS, Android), progressive Web Apps, Web developments (Java Script, HTML5, ...)
• Understanding of Frameworks and tools for software development is a plus (e.g. C#, ASP.net, MS Azure, AWS, SQL, Subversion, Git, Redmine, Jira… )

  • Strong communication skills, ability to represent products on a professional level

• Must be able to share and explain ideas and concepts with other departments in the company.

  • German or other languages are a plus
